Climbing For Change hits new heights!

What started as a bold idea to bring people together through challenge and community has quickly become something much bigger. Climbing For Change has officially completed its second year, and the momentum is undeniable.

This year’s event saw 200 participants take on the climb, supported by an incredible crowd of roughly 600 spectators who came out to cheer, connect, and be part of something meaningful. Together, this community helped raise just shy of $100,000 in support of 17 local Edmonton charities. That impact stretches far beyond a single day on the hill. It represents real support for causes that matter deeply to the people in our community, from mental health and accessibility to youth programs, health initiatives, and beyond.

At its core, Climbing For Change is about pushing limits, both physically and mentally, while rallying around a greater purpose. It’s about proving to ourselves and to each other that we’re capable of more, especially when we do it together.

This year’s success would not have been possible without the support of our corporate sponsors and partners. Their belief in the event and commitment to community impact helped bring the entire experience to life. From logistics to atmosphere to the overall execution, their contributions were felt in every detail. We’re incredibly grateful for the role they played in making this year such a success. And now, we build. With two strong years behind us, Climbing For Change is stepping into its next chapter with even more energy and ambition. The foundation has been set, the community is growing, and the appetite for impact is stronger than ever.

We’re excited to carry this momentum forward into this year’s event, taking place on September 26. If the first two years are any indication, what’s ahead won’t just be bigger, it will be more meaningful, more connected, and more impactful. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about climbing a hill.

It’s about rising together.
