The Story Behind the Name.
Pronounced: ‘Black-How-zens’
Blakhausens began from the imagination of a 6yr old. Our oldest son, Kade, once imagined owning a company called “Blakhausens” - a business that made helpful skateboarding robots from all kinds of junk. The name stuck. It felt creative, curious, and a little different, which is exactly the kind of spirit we still believe in today. What started as imagination eventually became the name behind a growing family of ventures.
The Meaning Behind the Mark.
The Blakhausens mark reflects our belief in momentum. The inspiration was taken from a hand-carved stamp of growing waves. Our belief is that a single drop creates a ripple. A ripple becomes a wave. Most meaningful ventures start small, grow steadily, and gain strength over time. We’re not chasing waves. We’re building them.
